Jessica Wolfson has had a diverse career in film and photography.  She has produced and directed many critically acclaimed documentary films and series. 

Her current projects include RADIO UNNAMEABLE, which she is co-directing and producing about legendary FM Radio DJ Bob Fass and his freeform program Radio Unnameable and A GIRL AND A GUN about women in America’s relationship with firearms. 

Her recent projects have included LOVE COMES FIRST, a video promoting the new book of poetry from best selling author Erica Jong, GIRLTALK, a 16 episode web series for featuring host Annabelle Gurwitch, and CRAZY SEXY CANCER, a woman’s journey to find treatment for her rare cancer, which premiered on TLC in August 2007. 

As the former Supervisor of the Documentary & Features division at IFC, she played a key role in the development and production of IFC’s original documentaries and series.   These projects have included THIS FILM IS NOT YET RATED a controversial expose about the MPAA ratings board from director Kirby Dick; WANDERLUST an examination of the American road from Bob Pulcini and Shari Springer Berman; THE BRIDGE, a mediation of suicide and the Golden Gate Bridge; and FABULOUS! THE STORY OF QUEER CINEMA, a survey of independent gay and lesbian cinema.  Other projects have included SLASHER, the premiere documentary of John Landis as well as IFC signature series GREG THE BUNNY; FILM SCHOOL; and DINNER FOR FIVE hosted by Jon Favreau, in which she produced a 2005 Emmy Nominated episode. 

In 2007, Jessica orchestrated the grassroots marketing campaigns for the successful New York theatrical releases of Jennifer Fox’s documentary series FLYING: CONFESSIONS OF A FREE WOMAN and the documentary film THE HOLY MODAL ROUNDERS…BOUND TO LOSE.

Jessica has made several short films and has worked with diverse talents such as filmmaker Jem Cohen and photographer Bruce Davidson.  

In 2007, She and her partner Paul Lovelace founded LOST FOOTAGE FILMS, a full service production company specializing in all types of film and video projects, from compelling institutional videos and web pieces, to broadcast programs and commercials, to feature length documentaries.

Recently Jessica has teamed up with renowned fashion photographer Kristiina Wilson as a producer on fashion photography stories that have appeared in international magazines such as Elements, Aventura, H magazine, Noovo, Kitten, Plaztik, Glitteratti and Blink.
